I am a pet portrait artist in the UK specializing in paintings of dogs, cats, horses, domestic animals and people portraiture. I am also a landscape and architectural painter. I live in the village of Exton in Rutland between the market towns of Oakham and Stamford. I first started painting Pet Portraits professionally after leaving Loughborough Art College in 1984. I was born in Harrogate in North Yorkshire and was brought up at Northfield Farm, Cold Overton, near Melton Mowbray. I went to Morcott Hall School for girls and then studied art at Rutland Collage before completing a foundation course at Loughborough. I accept commissions from anywhere in the UK and abroad as I usually work from photographs. Recent commissions include a family tree with family crests and shields that dates back to the fifteenth century and I have been commissioned to do a tree of all the Prime Ministers of Great Britain.
